Giovanni is a lagoon fisherman and still proudly holds his fishing licence. That connection with the sea shapes our cooking: broeto de seppe, bisato in speo and local fish dishes rooted in Caorle’s culinary traditions.

The Dalla Bella family created Gaya Fishing Tourism at Terzo Bacino. It can also be reached aboard the traditional motorised bragosso Pianedo, navigating for about two hours through the channels of Caorle’s eastern lagoon towards the border with Bibione, through the landscape that also inspired Ernest Hemingway.
